"Getting myself out of the truck, and having faith in others to do the work, made us more money than anything else."
My brother Ty and I opened Terramorph on January 6, 2023, in Perrysburg, Ohio. Two trucks, two trailers, our own tools. Our first real job didn't come until March: a spring cleanup with Ty and one guy, at about $70 a man-hour.
When there wasn't work, I went out myself and stuffed flyers, dropped business cards and put up yard signs. By 2024, the phone was ringing on its own.
Today we run 15 trucks, hit 30 people at peak, and we're closing our first acquisition. I run it from Miami. This book is every lesson, including the job we lost our ass on and gave every dollar back.
